and sometimes it just is what it is .... not a big fish to be found yesterday ...
several varieties of smalls visited my hand and it came as no surprise to me ....
I expected nothing less , probably the cold front that came thru ....
temps dropped from 104 to 101 ,,,,,messed em up bigtime ....

no worried I got lots more excuses if it happens again ....

l stay pretty well tuned though AND.... KABOOM is still near
in the mean time stay hydrated , just saying
p.s. that ding dong lil kitty fish gave me the his lil saw on the release ....been a minute since I got to feel that venom ....right smart for a scratch to say the least ,,,,jogged my memory well ....

I believe you should drink enough that you have to pee regularly, while engaging in hot outdoor adventures. If you notice your skin drying and you haven't peed in a while, get somewhere cool and start hydrating. My step son had a heat stroke about 10 years ago and almost died. He was unconscious when he made it to emergency care. It still affects him and he has to be very careful and hydrated. In fact the heat spell we are in in SW Louisiana has got him feeling bad. They are monitoring him closely at work.
