Since damaging my brain I am trying to relearn some things about fishing. Please bear with me here. It seems like I used to look on a topo map for countour lines running very close together indicating a steep drop off. Closer to the shore is even better. Summer crappie should be there.

Am I somewhat close in my thinking here Can't remember this. Thanks for helping!
