    Default Changes in life

Some are the best , some not so much .....
Seems the owner of the private dock wants to remodel
it is LONG overdue for a redo ....
but it will VERY likely mess up the crappie thing spawn wise pretty thoroughly
they took a skid steer to the bedding area and BLEW it right up .....
going to go in with a new bulkhead he says ....
    darnit darnit darnit ....I say
the good news is not much , the lake was up about 4 foot
the current in it was noticeable AND ....
it was pretty darn tough to ketch 25 or so on my lunch break ....
of course I will keep yawl posted on further adjustments made to the dock
but as of right now , it is pretty tough stuff ....
did ketch a few that were really small ....
prolly why I was missing so many bites ,,,,,right ,,,,,
but some was nice ones and it was still fun to ketch a few ....
mostly hugging the bottom they were and the water was in the 12 to more depth range currently .....
used a plain ole white jig on red riding hood ....
    KABOOM is near
p.s. that weeee lil one might be my PB on smallest ever crappie on a jig , just saying

I've caught them even smaller, some under 3". Not bragging though. Slow year for me with crappie, biggest this year was a few 13". Dock redo might mess up spawning area now but those big crappie are still in the lake, might have to look elsewhere. You will find them I'm sure.

If you would hold that PB a little closer to camera it would look huge.

thunk about her or him in the aquarium ....bought the right size ....
the bite will likely stay like it has been for years over there , the fish don't seem to care much about what he does ....
sometimes it is a bit slower than others , but to be sure the crappie like that area of the lake quite a bit

The little one blown up would look like it has a Gaff in its mouth.

Those that Might poke fun at me and my baby crappies, might want to reconsider what a challenge a fish that small is on jig that big ……
