But none the less , it is in FULL forward march right now .....
Yesterdays dock fish were holding in 6 to 8 fow
Today less fish out deep ....
went to leave the dock and dropped in a foot to 14 inches of water at the bulkhead and >>>
KABOOM and not just one , found it hard to leave , but it is what it is .....
the good news is some folks got to see and get a picture of a fish pushing 16 and full fledged whale crappie category for these parts ....
she was 1 of 2 large crappie that bit out in deeper water ...
Man what big fat girl fish ....
sure was knock down drag out with her big fish attitude , that there 6 foot ultralight was at it's for sure max. limit and that there Mr. Crappie hi viz 6 lb mono was way out PAST over drive ....was epic no doubt ....good times my friends , warm weather and fish going bananas ....got to love it ...
p.s. you know for sure when there is a big boy fish right beside a big girl fish in 12 to 14 inches of water that they ain't actually spawning in this here cold water , it's just a first date thing , they are NOT serious , they have to keep it cool , till the water gets just right , its a set the mood thing ,,,,,water too chilly equals no spawning ....
slightly overcast keeps em on beds all day btw , they tend to move off them some when the sun really beams down ,,,,just saying,,,,silly me ketched a bass at the bulkhead in the sunshine yesterday and just walked right past em today on an overcast day ....![]()
