    That photo of the dead deer looks like my skinny 14 yo border collie sleeping. Same color and length fur - minus the hooves. LOL Amazing there was any meat on those bones.

    No fishing for a long time to come considering the ice is thin made worse by 19-50 degree days and rains up to 2-3".
    I envy your catches and congratulate you on your endurance. These ol' bones don't do well in the cold.

    Never saw a pig with that much hair! But then again I'm comparing it to a farm raised hog.

    it was big enough to produce good eats if it were fatter ,but to be very sure it was a run down looking critter and to be even more sure it was WAY more run down looking after it ketched that slug in it's cranium .....just saying
