2 lbs is a really big fish once you hit the dfw and west waters in most cases
we have several lake records in these parts that are just right above 2 lbs on white crappie and under 2 on blacks ....
Our local lake being a river lake cycles every few years. About 4 years ago numbers were down but we caught some strings of good fish . Hope this spring or the next will see the size go back up . Our mostly White Crappie are pigs . A 15'' in spring will go 2.25 lbs . Here is one string with 13 over 2 lbs with biggest 7 at 15.98 lbs on my Rapala digital scales .
