    Default Reckon so .....

Love the chess game with crappie and no electronics and or boat is me , the graph and the boat make it somewhat unfair when I am involved and sometimes a bit boring too .....
Now mind you this , it isn't always easy even with a boat and electronics , but the game of ketchn becomes alot closer to a fair game ,when it's just me against them trying to figure out what will work best for the day and or hour.
It is such that my time is really taken up lately with performances to attend , deer to hunt , work for pay and ketchn fish for play .....and then today let's toss in another surgery too ! Of course with a work dinner that we have today as well ,that I am about to start the oven up for my dish to bring ....
Such is life I suppose and to be very sure I feel very blessed to be so lucky to have all these opportunities to enjoy life at it's fullest .......
Fast forward to the subtle stuff that might matter when "blind" ketchn , in this case it was the slightest of color changes and body sizes on the plastics and in the end I pitched 4 colors and 2 sizes , best 2 colors are in the images below and then there was also a yellow and white that snatched a few , BUT a hot pink NEVER got a peck ...
It was a bit tough to hammer them and lost 2 large crappie this last visit this week to the dock , the first one tried to beach itself on the dock and when it jumped out of the water it dislodged my jig darnit , the second one just pulled really hard and was extra heavy and came off shortly after I set the hook .
24 crappie and one yellow bass later back to work I went
and until the water wets my jigs again ,,,,,,
    KABOOM is the word
p.s. I would tend to think it was size related until I dropped the hot pink in the EXACT same plastic as the dirty orange one , not EVEN a comparison in performance this visit , just saying

left arm is under restriction , but I am right handed , so it seems the fish are still not marked safe at this time ....
