i just heard from bonehead tackle,
Boneheads are made here in East Texas on hiway 155 just south of Tyler,
The gentleman there said that most people do rig them flat , but he feels that a vertical presentation works better, especially when
the fish are feeding on larger shad. He said the fish tend to hit them harder when fished this way. that was what I observed last time out,
the crappie really thumped them when pitched and slow retrieved close to the bottom.
MO
PS the bonehead stump bugs have been good for me , in white chartreuse , black chartreuse and blue chartreuse ( which they call the Lake Palestine special)
