This is what I was referring to .

I have done my share of bridge fishing in the past , there was a time when the only place I knew to catch crappie on Lake Palestine was
under the 155 bridge, It has been many years since I have fished a bridge.
    good luck

so many frown on hitting bridges and it befuddles me , we often run straight to them and avoid looking for crappie elsewhere , crappie love shade and concrete and tend to be stacked under them in lots of spots year round , never did get that part of the hammer them program .
it for sure never bothers me to hit them off a dock or under a bridge and or on a big corp community pile either ....
my run all over the lake looking for them is somewhat tired , it is fun to hunt them down sometimes , but it is way more fun to just sit still and hammer them hard

One of the lakes I fish has a single bridge on it. Everyone fishes that bridge, it's the one place you are guaranteed to catch at.

several of my foundation lakes have bridges and have done quite well fishing those and it's about the only time I will use a double rig. But it's rare as I like to probe cover with my single jig.
