IF longline trolling .... it's one rod in hand 6'6" jig casting rod & a marabou Road Runner. (and I'm usually just going down a bank from one spot to another spot that's a good distance away) *found many a school of spawning fish doing that in the Spring !!

IF I'm Pushing jigs (4rods) ... it's two 14' BnM Capps/Coleman rods, line counter reels, 30# braid, 6# mono leader, 1oz trolling weight, all attached with duo-loc snaps. The other two rods are BPS Uncle Buck's Deluxe (collapsible) with 20# mono (everything else same).

The "why" is because they were the "Pushing" rods/reels/lines/weights I used (of theirs) when fishing with my Jig Pushing mentors ... and I bought 3 of the 4 outfits from one of those mentors when health reasons stopped him from fishing.
