Yes it takes a thin socket. But there's 2 sizes also. My motor has the standard size. Don't ask me why. Dealer did not figure that one out.Originally Posted by RLR

Pete, I think that would work. I'm fixing to get cranked up making some more with different design's, will let you know what works.
Hey RLR,
Save your energy and materials. We're gonna get the factory opened asap. For where we fish I don't think you're gonna need them that tall. I look forward to meeting you and getting the assembly line up and running.
My might just add a float like a pop bottle to the top and it will just settle into the bottom over time. Works for me. If I put wood out, I fill the top of a plastic milk jug with canned foam including the handle. If I tie good knots, they stay upright for years. The one gallon oil jugs are even tuffer but wash em out good first. Seeya, Don
I make them and use the same things yall use trees, bambo, pvc, and use the same method of sinking them but how long do you think they will stand up. I don't they will verry long.

You have inspired me
Love, what more can I say
We have built and sunk similar trees. To keep them standing, we put four holes in the side of the bucket at the bottom, and then stick rebar or pipe in them. Then fill with concrete. This usually works pretty well for stabilizing
when I grow up I want to be, one of the harvesters of the sea. I think before my days are done, I want to be a fisherman.Crappiegirl1 LIKED above post
