David, now that's what im talking about. Those look good, those will be there for a long time. Im in the process of building several condos made out of everything I can think of. I have some that are 2 feet tall all the way to 20 feet tall.
Pete, I have been doing some research and from what I understand is that if you place structure where there is none then crappie will hold to it. I'm sure some will work better than others. I bet the shorter versions would work also, I just think the more structure the better.
I'm new to building condo's so if someone has a picture of a different kind I would like to see a picture of it.

Those condos look great. My father and I just began to put four crappie condos together. I will post pics from when I put them in the water. We are making ours out of pvc and it looks like a tree. With 2 1/2 ft pvc branches and it is 5 ft tall. I have a question, will most fish finders be able to pick up pvc pipe? I assume so, but just wanted to ask.

Thanks RLR I guess I will try to find a spot that does not have a lot of cover on it. But that may be hard to do here on Pickwick lake

Pete here is a shorter condo that I made.
About the 25 Yamaha, they are fine motors, I really enjoy mine. Ive had mine two years and the plugs just fowled out, I thought the four strokes wasn't going to fowl plugs but they do.
Searcy, the pvc shows up on my fish finder, post a picture when you finish, would like to see what your building.

Pete, the spark plugs take a 18mm socket, I had to buy a thinner socket because the one I had was too fat to reach the sparkplug, just a heads up.

    Talking

Them condos look like some kind of "hippie" art. Or something Fred Sanford would fish around. But if they work I reckon I can't judge. I shall call them Lamont's Artesan Condos or A Sanford Crappie Housing Project from now on. :D
Ya ain't holdin' your mouth right.
