I would definitely agree, the water is a month late in getting to temperature, the water is nearing flood stage, last year's spawning areas are now 16 feet deep, brush has grown up for several years where the new beds are likely to be. All factors that are going to make this years fishing vastly different from last year, and the lake will likely close for two weeks if it reaches two feet over full. It is looking like swamp tactics with the waders on may be the only option for the next full moon. Waiting for sunshine and water temperature, everything is going to happen soon.
