    Hey Noodle,
Just wondering how you fish for those Pigs over there in the west.
I’m sure you are in a lot clearer water than here in Indiana.
Pitching to them? Casting? Dropping on them?
    Hand tied or Plastic?
    Heavy or light weight jig?
Thanks for any info you feel comfortable giving out.
    Chuck

I almost always cast with 4# mono and 1/16th or 1/32nd oz jig heads direct tied to the jig. The water can get clear here, but not right now. Obviously sometimes I have to adjust tactics and some are held closely, but 98% plastic tied directly with 4# mono, I get broken off often by those green carp and sometimes crappie and big cats, but I don't enjoy being overpowering with my target fish.
