What if you have a 4s with coil over plugs?

I bought a new Mercury 115 last year. Don't know how many hours I have on it. It wasn't used too heavily though. How much does Vessel View cost?

About 200. It shows you a lot of important stats, basically the same as smart craft gauges. If you just want to know past hours, you can take it to a boat service shop and have them do a scan and printout on it.

I am thinking the trolling motor would have a lot higher hour count myself

Pretty sure. If I spend 5 hours on the lake, 4 of them or more will be spent fishing/trolling.

I have a new boat with a 115 4 stroke Merc too. And ive wondered that same thing, Mercury refers to engine hours for maintenance but doesnt install a hour meter on the engines! wth.
Anyway after looking at Vessel view and seing what you get for 2-3$ hundred, I ordered a hour meter for $50. Pretty simple install mount it close to a ground and #1 spark plug wire, wrap meter wire around plug wire and ground it, end of story.

I have no idea how many hours I have on my new 115 Merc. It's a year old and the lake I live on is only 3,500 acres. It set for a few months while waiting to get all my electronics in and installed.

I’ve put the Tiny Tach brand that’s a tach and hour meter on the last two motors I’ve had and have had really bad luck with them dying after a couple of years. Boats have always been stored in covered storage so not out in the elements.

Anyone else have this same problem or recommend a different hour meter? Thank you!

This is the Brand and style that I’ve been buying:
