Thanks, that's really my hope. The DNR acknowledges a Crappie population and everyone knows that there are some big ones, but they also acknowledge that the population isn't nearly as strong as it used to be. I'm sure that there are enough there to be able to figure them out and pattern them, but a lot of the game fish do get VERY deep on this lake in the summer and often times in the winter. Last winter I took a couple of Crappie jigging spoons in nearly 90 feet of water on the bottom while I was bass fishing.
