Hi everyone,

I posted awhile back about my dad being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Thank you all for the prayers. Sadly, dad lost his battle to this terrible disease on Dec. 16th. We will be burying him this Friday, Dec. 23rd. May I ask you please pray for our family during this difficult time? My dad was my best friend and taught me how to fish, fly airplanes, hunt and be a man. I will forever be grateful for his sacrifices and commitment to my family. May I ask a special prayer for my mother, who would’ve been married to him 43 years this Wednesday.

The day he passed, my wife and I were discharged from the hospital with a newborn baby girl. I’m blessed to say he got to meet her. Sadly, he passed a few hours later. Dad accepted Jesus into his heart and is now in heaven. We rejoice at the thought of him in heaven, but are very overwhelmed losing him so soon at the age of 62.
