    I have never weighed one, but my longest white crappie is 16.9" and my longest black crappie is 16.25". Waiting on the elusive 17"er to go on the wall

    I was 9 years old at the time and my dad and his buddy had a old wooden jon boat. My job was to bail water with a Folgers coffee can while they checked the lines

    Caught from Watts Bar Lake in East Tenn back in Spring 2007 (guesstimate length of 16-17") Caught on UL w/4# test. Caught at about 8ft deep next to a dock we were shooting.
