Went out yesterday to test the Livescope only to find I left the power cable at home. Lake is a hour away so decided I would do my best to catch a limit without electronics. Lake Tawakoni has a bridge that crosses the lake that is two miles long. There is set of five bridge columns every 30 yards. By my calculations there is roughly 546 bridge columns and felt like I fished everyone of them. It took me 9 hours to get my limit. For the most part I caught one fish about every 20 minutes and only once did I catch fish back to back. It was a real grind but 90% of the fish caught were 12-13 inches. I had 3 throw backs due to them being less than 10 inches. I have never fished that long before and it was dark when I got the boat out of the water. There was only two other boats under that bridge with me and the left after 2 hours. I am wore out today but I had a great time on the water. It's been around 3 years since I have caught a limit of 25 crappies. Hopefully the Livescope will cut down on the time required to stay on the water and yes you can catch fish without it but it was a real grind yesterday. Tight lines everyone.
