Clearance items!!

Hey guys, found a few clearance items at Academy today while browsing around. Picked this combo up for just over $50. It's not an expensive rod and reel, but the reel normally sells for more. My wife always talks about how she can't pass up a good deal of sale. Lol

Academy clearance deals is the reason I have so many rod and reels at home. Just hard to walk away from a great deal.

Looks like a great deal. We are supposed to get our first Academy store in the area in a few weeks. I’m excited to see what all they have to offer after hearing so much about them over the years

If you see a item sitting in the corner by itself make sure you scan it for the actual price. I can't began to tell you how many great deals I have found by doing this. They don't always list the clearance price on their items. I got 3 BnM Sharpshooter rods for 3 cent apiece once. I also got a Shimano Sedona spinning reel for $12.50 once. Their best deals are from the big clearance sale they have every year before fishing season (late Feb to early March).

Washington only allows you to fish with one rod, two rods at most. This means no spider rigging or anything that justifies multiple rods. Since I already own over two dozen rods I don't have much excuse to buy new ones I find on clearance now.

But it's still going to be hard to pass up a good bargain on a fishing rod.

Looks like a 20 series President
They usually sell for 59.00. Don’t know about the rod.
I love all, who knows how many president reels.
Great bargain.
