    I have never used the Ozark trail rods, but my fishing buddy uses the Ozark trail mono fishing line. That has to be some of the toughest stuff I've ever saw. He had some 6 lb that was the hardest stuff to break. Hope the rod holds up as good.

    Finally stumbled upon one of these. Man it felt great. I sure didn't need it. Maybe I'll hide it my wifes shoe & tote bag pantry....What??? This ole rod....I've had it for years

    so far it is really nice , it ranks up with the dollars invested rods for sure , looks like the big names got a problem to me , it handles VERY well and I can't find anything I would change on the rod .....
