Green Dock Fishing Lights
Hello Everyone,
I'm a new member here. I'm 59 years old and just bought a retirement home on Lake Wedowee, on Mad Indian Creek as it becomes the Big Tallapoosa River, just above 48 bridge. Year round deep water for fishing.
I haven't fished in a long time, but am looking forward to getting back into it.
I have a dock and see a lot of bait fish around, and an occasional "group attack" by predator fish - mostly crappie and spots I'd guess. My neighbor says he sees the same thing around his dock. He has some green lights submerged around his dock, although I don't know the brand (he is at the lake only occasionally, so I haven't had the chance to ask what brand of lights he uses).
I want to submerge a green light or two at my dock, and have been researching light manufacturers.
One that looks good is the "Green Blob". Does anyone have a critique on these lights, or any other lights? I want to get this right the first time. I'm not in a hurry to buy. I just want to get it right.
Crappie fishing is my favorite type of fishing, although I haven't fished for crappie in a long time. I'm looking forward to catching up on lost time.
Thanks for your help.
