well how about some suggestions, i did have the airstream in mind, but some rather one pc. i do have the BnM TCB and the Bucks crappie rod, i am finding the TCB a little flimsy. the Bucks crappie rod slightly heavy. the ACC crappie stick in 6.6 is ok, but it won't get a 1/32ox lure out too far. and have 2 Wally Marshalls. i have one wally marshall in 7ft one pc it is orange in color, it's about the best of what i have so far, it gets the lure out, but looking for something with a little more backbone.

ps i might order the BPS Airstream. i hear some good things about it, i hope it's not a heavy rod, can anyone chime in on the weight on it vs the Sam Heaton SS 7ft. which is lighter
I have a few 7’ rods. Academy sells a nice 7’ one piece rod that’s a lite action that is worth handling before you buy. I agree with Ketchn that the one piece rods feel a bit better. Sam Heaton has a strong following but mine is a ten foot so I have no first hand experience. The Shakespeare micro series do a good job for the money but there’s better available. My strongest suggestion is to handle whatever you choose before you buy it. I try to put a reel like I’ll be using on it too.
While it’s only 6’6” but take a serious look at the BnM TCB. I have it’s predecessor the trout slayer series and it’s the same rod. One of my favorites out of a stable of over 40 rods.

I agree
my favorite rod for what your talking about doing is a 7ft denali. medium power. they claim its a medium action but it has a pretty fast tip. it feels like a pretty stiff stick but i cast 1/32 jigs 50 to 60 ft with no trouble just a flick of the wrist. sam heaton is too much of a limp noodle to me. i feel the little taps better with a fast tip. this is just my opinion. find something that feels good to you.
Look at ACC Crappie Stix. Plenty of backbone to boat fish and sensitive tip. Company located near Rend Lake Illinois.
