Knee update even though a couple days late. Went up to Kansas University Medical Center for the 6 month eval. on what was supposedly bone cancer in my femur at the knee. Well it's not. I cant pronounce let alone spell what it is. What it is is Cartlidge calcified in the bone right above the knee. The when they have a good idea, exactly how is speculation. Something thats been their my whole life. It's not growing, and not moving, which rules out cancer. But to prove it's not cancer, they have to complete a two year study. 1 down, 1 to go. Good news is it's not going to effect our move to help daughter, when that happens.
Now, UPDATE on surgery. I have been totally released from the hospital following the surgery, and get to start phisical therapy on the 29th of this month. Been using a walker with a sit down seat when I knew a lot of walking would be involved. I would get short winded a bit, and as a precaution had the walker. Thinking of outfitting it with a rod holder and use the little basket for my tackle box, lol. Other wise doing great. Thank you everyone for the prayers, and well wishes. Eric, aka Jamesdean.
