The Best Combos are ?

There are so many to choose from , crappie crappie , crappie bluegill ,crappie hybrid ......
confusing to say the least
But the good news is even though we were told you can't ketch much before dark right now , we still managed a mere 68 between us in an hour . And mind you this ....
We spent 15 minutes figuring who what and where and then lost and or missed 20 or 30 more quite easily , even took a break to chat with my bud who said they were NOT biting ....
of course my wife said ,sure their biting , just have to put your bait really deep
So keep in mind this about that ....
1 , color DID matter , orange got bit WAY better than chart or natural
2 , we presented baits thru out the water column to find the bite
3 , tipping your jig with "something" was better than bare by a good mile....
"worms and nibbles"
4 , and most important , never think they are NOT biting , that is a frame of mind that will for sure put you in the audience and not in the show
10 to 11 foot deep in 12 foot of water and biting very lightly was the program at 2 pm in the nice hot highly windy afternoon in west Texas.
KABOOM from the no rain part of the world ......
p.s. all fish were released to do what the fish were doing before the interruption ....
