I have thought for awhile now that the crappie trail ought to have a "With electronics and a With limited electronics" tourny.

Had this figured out but could you imagine if all tournaments outlawed high tech electronics ? It would shake up the standings , lower weights and see many old time fishermen show their stuff . Not just Bass but Crappie too ? These new electronics has had a bunch of young guys take over the tournaments where just a few years ago the top 10 was veteran fishermen in Crappie fishing .

And for the rest of the story - Have the 2 winners compete against each other.

There is a big difference between having to figure out where they are and make them bite vs. looking on electronics and it telling you. Knowledge and skill like stated takes time to learn.
