The price at the pump will leave ya driving away with a limp. . Good you got some fishing in, shared the wealth, found a steal on some boots, avoided the curse of the skunk. The lights light it up nicely

we seen 3.99/9 on the way in that night at one pit stop , and 3.69/9 on the other side of the highway from it ....
the 3.99 place was empty , not a soul at the pumps , the 3.69 place was packed ....
sometimes as little as a nickel will do this as well , and a nickel on 20 gallons is ONLY one buck

Wasn't too long ago you could get a full tank for what I paid for a half yesterday. Another round of cold stuff next week, but eyeballed some turkey buzzards yesterday...soooo keep them PF's handy, snakes will be out and about shortly!

yeppers woke up to need a jacket this morning and went to bed in shorts , go figure .....
was very light footed off in the brush in the dark looking for the piggy that we never found ....
kept thinking 3 or 4 days of sunshine and there is likely a venomous snake off in the brush in the pitch black dark on the little moon that night .

they was not kidding around on the takes for sure , definitive hammers and deep in there was the jig .
me likes a good solid take and deep hooked crappie for sure .
and honestly , never mentioned all the rest of what we did work wise ...
there was the kitchen sink , the feed and the on and on and on ...
was darn busy for sure , couldnt fit the ac unit in my truck as we were loaded flat out full up ....
had trouble finding a spot for the rifles when we left !

Nice crappie we got about 3 inches of snow yesterday but should be 70 in a week. I'm ready to get on them.

sleeted on me yesterday and wore shorts the day before , messed the fish up BIG time locally .....
such is the spring fling for sure ....
