    Bill was practicing the trumpet in the living room while his wife was trying to read.
    The family dog was lying on the back of the couch, and at the sounds of Bill's trumpet he began to howl.
    The wife listened to the dog and the trumpet as long as she could. Then she jumped up and yelled above the noise, "Can't you play something the dog doesn't know?!
