Ole and Lena lived on a farm, and they had been married many, many years when Ole went out into the field one day and plowed up a little mirror. Well, Ole looked into the mirror and said, “Hmm, I never knew my father had his picture taken !!!” He was very pleased with it so he took it up to the attic for safe keeping. Every now and then Ole would go up into the attic and look at the picture of his father.
Lena noticed all the trips to the attic, and finally, she got so curious! When Ole was out in the field working, she sneaked up into the attic one day… She found the mirror and looked into it… “Vell,” she said, “ so dat’s the old hagg he’s been running around vit!!!”
