How many of you use float and fly techniques

I am just curious as to how many of you have tried a modified float and double fly rig? I am going to use the fly I tied on my You Tube TV channel. You can see this video in the jig tying forum. and some of the soft plastic I have been making in this double rig. I tie the top lure on the line with a Palomar knot and the bottom jig with a loop knot. Set the depth of the float with the bobber stop. It gives the fish two choices at two different depths.

If you have used a hair jig and a soft plastic jig in combination under a float how did it go? Just curious.
