Pallets take A LOT Of Weight!!!!

Green (fresh cut) wood sinks the best. Christmas trees are easy but don't last long.

What he said. Pallets are built normally from kiln dried wood, takes a lot to sink. It can be done, but need to remove as many boards as possible. It works much better to get green sawmill wood and build your own pallet beds. I have four blocks on this 4’x4’ because that was going out in the current. Two older, heavier blocks will sink a bed made from green wood like that fine if it’s not going out in the current.
