Switching to braid

Here is a work around for the infamous gap in the line tie on a jig. Grab a piece of scrap line and tie your favorite knot at the line tie. Now slide the knot around the line tie till it drops in the gap. Pull SLIGHTLY tight and trim standing line. Any type or # test can now be used on the jig because IF it does slide around the tie, it will be prevented from entering the gap by the other knot.

I eliminated that problem years ago. All the jig heads I use have a completely closed eye.

Great if you can find them to purchase

Well while one can’t find them now I have about a years supply left….maybe more. If by that time the supply chain has not gotten back to normal I’ll have to use something else. I am always on the lookout for a replacement and have some new ones on the way now to see if they will do. If not I’ll try another….it’s a journey I enjoy.

I get that Randy! I spend countless hours researching tackle and gun stuff. Of course its always the hard to find things. lol
