    I have those too, the Cuda scissors work better, the line doesn't have to be tight to cut it.

    This was brand new Power Pro Slick 8 V2 in #8. You can see the powder paint on the hook where the lead used to be. I am sure the lead was poured cold or didn't adhere very well to the hook. It still took a good bit of pull to slide it off the hook

    I second the idea of bringing a wooden dowel to wrap your line around instead of your hand. Trust me on this one.

    I usually pin the line on the spool and pull back until it breaks. That being said. I then play off the line until all the under wraps are out of the spool. Retie and return to fishing

    I wrap the line around my handle on my reel and then pull straight back with rod. Easy and works every time not to mention one less thing to keep up with.
