Another vote for Terrova. It is definitely the best value in a TM with spot lock. I originally purchased a 12V, 55lb 54 inch without the pedal for my 10' boat. Now that I have a 16' Deep V that I moved it to, I added the foot pedal. I still find myself using the remote 90% of the time. I do use the pedal a little if I'm working vegetation while Bass fishing, but for trolling/long poling the remote is pretty much all I use since I'm on the back of the boat. It worked great for me once I ensured the heading sensor was in a good spot AND put the heading sensor on my house/cranking battery and not the TM battery.
