after watching the rod behind you get a good thump and you convincing me it was just you leaning back in the chair and bumping it ,

Hey, it wasn't my rod. I told Richard I would watch it for him, not catch his fish. Besides I'm not convinced it was a fish on it. I looked at his minnow and it showed no damage so that bent over rod must have been your imagination.

Yeah, a while back he was having trouble hooking them in the mouth too. Jigs were all the way down their throats. Ketchn, as many crappie you stick steel to your hookset speed should increase, shouldn't it?
