last weeks trip was that trip , about an hour into it , I almost said that is quite enough , fortunately we had ice water and poured a bottle down my gullet and decided it was a stay instead of go situation .
after a what I suspect as a heat stroke of some sort around 20 years ago , my body don't quite handle extreme hot as well as it once did.
I had a headache for a week after that ketch and shoot outing , was it fun , oh my YES ,limited on doves and whacked big channel cat and big bass while I consumed beer and shot at the birds , mostly right off the tail gate with my cooler of beer to keep me company ,no clue what the outside temps were and had a big straw hat on , but it was blazing sunshine and hot out there and to be sure it was past what my body wanted done to it .
never been quite the same in the extreme heat and sunshine since
