Cannot give you a definite number of hours because I am still learning. However, I do not plan to change my preferred way to fish (single pole and casting). It has helped me eliminate water/cover where there are no fish present. As said above it takes many hours to learn other techniques/presentations. Using LiveScope is no different. Live Scope, to me, is a powerful tool to help you locate fish but as CP said above finding them does not always mean they will bite. I grew up thinking that if you put a jig or minnow in front of a crappie, it would most likely bite. LiveScope has shown me that many times they just look at the bait or swim away. Time required to learn a new skill/technique differs among individuals. My question was...Is the results worth the investment of time? I believe from my experiences so far that it will be. Good fishing...
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
