Was it really that long ago! Fishing Facts and Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers were among my first fisherman's bibles. We fished jig and minnow for all kinds of fish for years. All of Dad's generation is gone now, and I am getting old enough to not want to mess around with live bait anymore, but I still use the jigs for just about every fish target, just adjusting the size and the plastic I now use in stead of live bait.
Dad used to always have a cooler of nightcrawlers along as well. If all else failed his nightcrawlers inevitably caught something. For years he had an old refrigerator that he kept a lot of crawlers in all summer.
