First of all, this is a spot where a lot of shad and crappie hang out. I normally don’t need light and still catch some. So my case might not be the same as most of you. It only take 30 mins to start seeing some fish. The light just help to bring fish closer. After about 1-2 hours when more school of bait fish start showing up.
