Water just hit 70F today.

Kept a good mess of Red ears (40) with a buddy two days ago.
I caught all mine on my own hand tied micro jigs on made from black sheep’s wool.
First 1/2 of our trip I out fished him ( he was using worms and bobber )
Last 1/2 he started beating me so catch was about even.

Those ole worms are hard to bet but as long as those Shellcrackers get in the boat they're for sure gonna be tasty.....

<thinking out loud> I wish people would say where they are fishing (NW Texas is fine, but South Texas and Wisconsin surely have different things going on), the date of the fishing, water clarity, barometric pressure, high/low forecast for the day, water temp, and water depth. Just for fun, I'd like to see a fish put on a ruler every now and then. I was watching these two young guys from up north and every fish was a "big" fish according to him, but they looked like stuff I toss back. LOL.

But man, it was good to see someone else having that danged snot algae everywhere. I want to bring a flamethrower and burn that crap up.

I push go fishn when you can and make whatever changes you have to, to get the fish to bite...... What time the sun came up, wind speed, what side the bed I got up on ect..... Don't Matter..... GO FISHN.....
I mostly fish in the Houston TX. area......
