Here in Texas I have come to grips with about 5 months of spawn for sure , February until June in the DFW area without much doubt . It depends a lot on the lake and its maximum depths and about a zillion other misunderstood variables . The one thing I know for certain is we have fish year round that seem to be no more than a few months old no matter the season and that in itself tells volumes of what ,when and where .
