As some of you know I’ve been out of serious fishing for about 10 years. Well, in that time my local lake has became inundated with milfoil. It’s made it tough to fish for the bank which I really enjoy. All of my backwater trees are covered with milfoil! My question is do crappie prefer milfoil over timber? My backwater lay downs have yet to produce this year and I’m cleaning off milfoil every cast. I REALLY don’t want to buy a 12ft rod and vertical jig the weeds.
