Hello all! I’m hunt12ga from southeastern Illinois and I’m glad to have found this forum. I have a local state park lake that is loaded with decent crappie, and I have developed a bit of addiction to learning the ins and outs of the lake. I bought an inexpensive sonar last year (Humminbird PiranhaMax 4di) and it has opened my eyes to what the fish are up to. The past 2 weekends we have had unseasonably warm and I have been able to find the fish and watch them bite my jigs! Awesome! Nothing like some cold water fillets.

Ill be lurking around, trying to pick up some knowledge, and may chime in from time to time. Good luck on the water!
