Most fast food joints still get pickles in these white 5 gallon buckets and most will give you the buckets FREE so they don’t have to walk out to the dumpster to get rid of them. These plastic pickle buckets make perfect bait buckets. The bucket is priced right and holds plenty shiners. It’s easy to exchange the total water volume too. Put your cast net over the top of the bucket, a couple twist of the net to keep the bait in the bucket when you dump all the water out and dip up a fresh bucket of water in1 smooth motion. Total water exchange takes less than 30 seconds from start to finish.
I like those plastic 5 gallon bait buckets.
