boy aint that the truth , I had no idea average depth fish liked to hit in cccold water in some spots would be as shallow as 5 to 6 foot or even less in 12 to 14 foot of water .
And mostly only if it is rising from 7 or 8 deep ...interesting for sure …..
most recently in the last year I have come to realize crappie will come high up in the water column after a bait
some conditions I have seen this year really surprised me ….old dog new tricks don't ya know
