Nice story. Brought back memories of me climbing the pecan trees in my parent's front yard to shake them down. We usually did that on Christmas when my older siblings were home for Christmas.

That's actually a picture I took of a painting my sister did of our home in a rare snow. SC you know. Supposed to be 70° Christmas Day.
