Fished ALUM CREEK RESERVOIR yesterday from 2 til dark, Fought wind and chilly temps all day. Caught 11 decent fish and have some for the freezer. Fought winds gusting 10-20 all day and some serious chop. Fished minnows in brushpiles and found fish in 15 FOW at depths from 4 - 8 feet. The bite was slow for sure. Wife hung in there and about froze but what a blessing to have her hang tough all afternoon and to have the foresight to bring sweat jackets. Used my new Wally Marshall speed shooter rod and I love it.
Hoping to make another go of it back to Alum soon or try Cave Run in Kentucky.
