l Got a call from Florida where my oldest was involved in a wreck and needed 1000 dollars to post bail . Only problem was that he was on Skype talking to me when they called.(lives in Scotland ) . I ask them if they would like to talk to him since they were obviously talking to an impostor ! We also have gotten the one from IRS that was to send the Federal Marshall . Told them we would leave milk and cookies and to please hurry ! These clowns should work as hard as they try not to , they could do well .

I just leave my land line unplugged from the phone set, but still attached to the answering machine with volume set to lowest level. If someone leaves a message (most don’t) I will listen at my convenience. I am still waiting for my new friend who is a Nigerian prince to call back, though.

I can see being fooled by a voice that sounded like my son/relative. But as soon as they mentioned the bubble wrap BS, I would have told them where to stick that bubble wrap. Thanks for the heads up though.
