PRAYER REQUEST

Saturday night I gave my daughter away then turned around and had the privilege of performing the ceremony. She is the oldest of 3. 1 girl 2 boys. She is 27, her husband is 30. I am thrilled for them both. But daddy has the blues. I desire your prayers and any wisdom you would like to share with me.

I pray for you and for them to have the best marriage ever. I think that performing the service at your daughter's wedding was awesome. Remember she is God's child.

It will be better when the grandchildren come. Trust in knowing you raised her best you could and instilled deep morals that will guide her daily.

This life God gave us definitely comes with changes, some expected others no so. May this be one of those that make “the one set of footprints in the sand” have a special meaning. Congratulations! What an honor for you to be able lead the ceremony. No doubt many fathers, both present and passed, would be elated for just such an opportunity. May your blues be short-lived and your time with your loved ones be long.

As with many of us Dads, I’ve given away 2 daughters. Both the happiest and most difficult days of my life. I have no sons and my world has been those girls for a long time. I believe that when things settle down your comfort level will recenter and you’ll e fine. Presiding at the wedding will make you smile for many years to come. My prayers are sent for you.

Thank you, thank you. This morning I can breath a little. For about a week, it's felt like someone sitting on my chest. But today, I feel a rest and a peace. Prayer really works y'all. God is real. Blessings on all you c.c. members!!
