the little one runs into the bedroom and jumps on the bed while the wife is still asleep at 6 am .
says mom mom wake up ...happy 4 th of July ….
so my wife said hey ask the lil one if she knows what we are celebrating today .
so I said hey kiddo what is this day all about ?
the little one went into great detail about how we became a free country and what country we gained our freedom from as well.
made me a proud parent for sure to know she knows ….
we did the traditional deal with the parade, the pool, the barbecue and a few beers plus of course and last but for sure not least ….
the KABOOM of the fireworks ….
good stuff no doubt and to be sure a happy fourth to all of you as well
